Corpus Linguistics

Corpus Linguistics is the study of authentic language data using linguistic software. Corpus-based methods allow us to explore various kinds of language patterns, including in written and spoken forms. Researchers and educators have begun to use the language data, known as corpus (plural corpora) in their language research and teaching as examples in corpora provide evidence on how a particular langauge/linguistic pattern is used in various real-life contexts.
